The new school year started in September, so naturally I’ve had much less time for hobbies and therefore much less to show than during the summer.
Supplies
I am quite the fan of the tiny 5x5cm sketchbooks. As these Chinese made products usually disappear quite quickly I ordered a few more for my stash:

I also went to a big art store in town and left with a few Neocolor IIs and some watercolor:

I added these to my set of 15 because it didn’t have any nice greens or greys. Naturally, that meant that they didn’t fit into the same tin anymore. They do fit in my Fancolor pencil tin almost perfectly, though.

Caran d’Ache Neocolor II
I am still getting used to this medium. It’s a bit frustrating at times, but I guess that’s to be expected as it’s just different enough from watercolour and gouache. It’s quite nice to not have to use water all the time to get something down on the page, though.

Watercolour
I also did some watercolour work. That’s still my favourite medium and I like my results best and sometimes wonder why I even bother with anything else.

Gouache
With gouache I am still experimenting on how to use it outdoors. I am still getting the hang of that.

It is however also very satisfying using it in a more deliberate way.
